Michael has been hairdressing for 52 years and has a wealth of experience. In his early days Michael was a very successful competition worker, representing Great Britain five times in such places as Switzerland, France, Belgium and the United Kingdom, winning Gold Medals on each occasion. He now is essentially a high fashion hairdresser, enjoying salon and stage work, and has been involved in the presentation of large and small shows throughout the U.K, Europe, South Africa, America and the Far East. His photographic work has been featured in the UK and world-wide trade and consumer press. He likes to specialise in advanced cut and colouring techniques with a commercial edge but is also renowned for his longhair work. On four occasions, Michael has been short-listed for the British Hairdressing Awards Northern Hairdresser of the year and was Artistic Director for Intercoiffure (Great Britain) for over 4 years.
